Hotel Group Block - IMPORTANT UPDATE

Initially, hotel accommodations were to be provided by the Desmond Great Valley Hotel. However, at this time, all rooms are sold out. and a new block has been created at the Homewood Suites across the street. This hotel is in the same parking lot as the Penn State Great Valley Conference Center, and like the Desmond, they will provide shuttle service to/from the conference center. The group rate is $139 per night plus tax. To make a reservation, please call 610.296.3500 and mention the “Akcelerant Customer Conference”. To visit the hotel website, click here. Rooms are selling fast, so please make your arrangements as soon as possible. This rate will expire on September 1.
Please keep in mind that the reception taking place on September 23 will still be held at the Desmond Hotel. The Desmond will have a shuttle running to and from the Homewood Suites before and after the reception.
If you still prefer to stay at the Desmond Hotel, you may contact them at 800.575.1776 and have yourself placed on a waiting list. If rooms open up closer to the event, the hotel will contact you.

Taxi

The Desmond Great Valley and the Penn State Great Valley Conference Center is about 30 miles from Philadelphia International Airport. If you do not wish to rent a car, a taxi ride will cost approximately $80 each way. To visit the official taxi page provided by Philadelphia International Airport, click here.
Shuttle service will be provided between the hotel and conference center throughout the event. See below for additional details. |

Conference Shuttle

The Desmond Great Valley Hotel will provide a shuttle running to/from the Penn State Great Valley Conference Center for those individuals who do not wish to rent a car during the event. The distance between the hotel and conference center is 0.5 miles.
All planned sessions, meals, and events will take place at either the Desmond Great Valley or the Penn State Great Valley Conference Center. |
