Jay
Mossman is
the founder
and current
CEO of
Akcelerant.
Jay held
senior
executive
positions in
technology
and lines of
business
with Mellon
Bank,
RepublicBank
and Bank One
during his
15 year
tenure with
these
institutions.
He spent 7
years as
President of
a financial
services
software
company for
which he was
brought in
by a venture
capital firm
to turn
around its
investment.
He received
numerous
awards such
as Inc.
Magazine
Turnaround
Person of
the Year
Runner-up
1995 and
1995
Turnaround
CEO of the
Year for the
Eastern
Technology
Council. He
was honored
in 2001 by
the State of
Pennsylvania,
receiving
citations
from the
House and
Senate for
his
technology
contributions
to the
state. Also
in 2001 he
was named
Technology
Person of
the Year for
Chester
County, the
fastest
growing
county in
Pennsylvania. |

Emily Steele
is the Chief
Operating
Officer at
Akcelerant
and manages
the
Operations
Group. Emily
is
responsible
for
overseeing
the
day-to-day
business
operations
of several
divisions
including
Customer
Care,
Product
Management,
Professional
Services,
and Software
Development.
Emily joined
Akcelerant
in 2005 as
the Controls
Director to
help
analyze,
define and
implement
new and
improved
processes
and
procedures
for customer
care,
implementations
and product
development.
By 2006 she
was promoted
to SVP of
Customer
Support
Management,
where she
assumed the
responsibility
for all
customer
related
activities
in the areas
of
professional
and support
services. In
a very short
time, Emily
has greatly
impacted the
growth and
success of
Akcelerant
and has
proven
herself to
be a
fundamental
part of the
Akcelerant
management
team.
Prior to
coming to
Akcelerant,
Emily spent
8 years at
Sanchez
Computer
Associates
(now
Fidelity
Information
Services)
managing the
Corporate
Quality
Assurance
Department.
In this role
she
developed
and
maintained
processes to
improve the
quality and
efficiency
of the
Fidelity
software
products.

L.P., Bill
oversaw

all aspects
of Buckeye’s
business. He

Officer and

Partner of
Buckeye from
September
27, 2000,
President
and Chief

Bill and his
wife Susan

At SWBC for
15 years,
Brad Young
currently
serves as
Senior Vice
President,
Business
Strategy and
brings more
than 25
years of
related
insurance
underwriting,
operations,
and
marketing
expertise to
the firm. He
began his
career with
Balboa Life
and Casualty
serving as
an
Underwriting
and
Actuarial
Services
Manager.
Prior to
joining the
SWBC team,
he was
President of
Cotrak
Insurance
Services, a
leading
provider of
insurance
and risk
management
services in
the Western
United
States. Brad
was CEO of
SWBC’s Risk
Management
Division
from 2002 to
2007, during
which time
he was
instrumental
in guiding
the
operation to
becoming one
of the
largest,
premier
providers of
outsourced
insurance
and risk
management
services in
the
industry.
Currently,
he
collaborates
closely with
Sales,
Finance,
Information
Technology,
and Product
Operations,
enhancing
SWBC’s line
of business
to meet new
customer
objectives,
address new
competitive
challenges,
find new
sources of
revenue, and
improve work
processes.
Brad
graduated
from
Illinois
College in
Jacksonville,
Ill., with
bachelor of
arts degrees
in
mathematics
and business
administration.
He
volunteers
in many
civic,
athletic,
and
charitable
organizations
in San
Antonio.
Brad has
served on
the Board of
Directors
for the San
Antonio
Sports
Foundation
for 10 years
and
represents
the local
Organizing
Committee
for Amateur
Sports as
well as the
Dreams for
Youth
Program. |
